Martin County
As of the 2010 Census, the population was 12,929. The county seat is Inez. The county was founded in 1870 and is named for Congressman John Preston Martin. The county has a total area of 231 square miles. The county’s eastern border is formed by the Tug Fork of the Big Sandy River. Martin County Kentucky has many opportunities for adventure tourism, including: mountain biking trail, dirt biking trails, horseback riding, fishing and boating and Elk Trail/Viewing Stations.
